Capturing a Beauty

Updated: Oct 30, 2018

Being a #Natural #Light #Photographer & #Photographing #people of all different #ages, shapes 'n' sizes, #genders, #different #skin tones and# personalities is one of my #favorite things about photographing people. Sometimes it's about capturing the #character of someones #personality, maybe its the age and gender of a person, and sometimes its also about the skin tones... #Beauty is within us all, and being able to #capture it truly makes me #happy, and why I have chosen photography as my #passion, #hobby and freelance #job! I have chosen to post images of my friend Christina. She is so full of life and has a great silly side (I nick-name her "Crazy-Christina") and it usually very hard to get a nice photo of her without pulling a silly-face! So its scheduled #portrait #sessions like these that I get to be #creative, finally get her not to make a silly-face and capturing her beauty from the inside-out... Its moments like this that I get so happy as I can play up her mixed #ethnic #beauty and #textures of the #scenery (of the palms) all in shades of #browns and #caramel in #color.

I love the shadows of the patterns from the palm, creating another layer to the image.
