Bird of Paradise

March 1, 2016

The Bird of Paradise has always been one of my favourite tropical flowers. Its origin is from South Africa and also known as the Crane Flower for the resemblance of a tropical bird. Its shape and vibrant tropical colors are unique and captivating, thus the reason why I love them so much.

Everyday no matter where I go I see so many things I want to photograph… anything from People, Sunsets to Flowers… Flowers have always captured my eye with the variety of shapes, colors and fragrances. I may not always have my nice DSLR with me, but I always have my iPhone in close proximity (cell phones these days take amazing photo’s too). Above are 3 images I took with my DSLR while I went on a walk into a botanical garden. I was so stoked to have been able to capture the vibrant colors and intriguing shapes the ‘Bird of Paradise’ flower has.
